Aztec Jackal
Aztec Jackal were formed when Colombian brothers Juan & Manuel Beltran started looking for a drummer in the very drummer-less and foggy Dublin city and met Kevin Williams who brought along Bassist Gerry Gallagher (in the boot of his car )...well the craic was had and the four piece immediately clicked when they started cracking out their favourite tunes by bands like Metallica, AC/DC and KISS at their first jam.
The band immediately started writing songs together and gigging as much as possible, today they are dedicated to mixing different groove & percussion sounds into their songs varying from funk, soul, reggae and even South American music while still keeping a heavy side to their music from their earlier days
