Joyful Noiz
The band was formed in September 2007 actually upon persistent requests uttered by Gentleman during his Journey To Jah tour with the Far East Band
("Please make a Joyful Noise!").
The name, with a slight spelling change (Noiz), fits the style of the band well and everyone interested in reggae music should read it backwards and understand everything with no further comments, right?
Originally coming from different places in Poland and Portugal, the members are now based in Dublin and play positive music, based on reggae and full of energy, with some influences from funk, punk and heavier stuff. This is the foundation of the band and we have kept to it from the very beginning throughout certain changes.
